Presbyterian Intercultural Network is to serve Jesus Christ and Christ’s mission through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The PIN is a grass roots network in our denomination that connects and nurtures intercultural multicultural, and cross-cultural ministries all over the United States. Our individual memberships include lay leaders, clergy, seminary students, and staff. Our institutional memberships include churches, governing bodies, and new worshipping communities. We imagine and embody God’s Pentecost vision through sharing ideas and resources, learning together, and seeking intentional multicultural experiences. We work in partnership with the Office of Intercultural Ministries in the Racial Ethnic and Women’s Ministries/PW ministry area of the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA). We affirm and partner with ethnic-specific and language-specific congregations.
The PIN, in partnership with the Office of Intercultural Ministries, consults presbyteries, sessions, and other church entities to help minister more powerfully in a variety of inter- and multicultural contexts. We reach out and promote opportunities for intercultural conferences, training, vocational opportunities and resources. We are always seeking new and creative ways to reach out and communicate with our members. The PIN seeks relationships and experiences that encourage healing and reconciliation in all of our work.
